5 Things: Cattywampus Crossword Edition

Happy Friday! Hope you all had a great week like the people who mistakenly found themselves in Edinburgh rather than Dusseldorf. Admittedly, the passengers might not have been all that happy but I do consider any plane that ends up in Edinburgh to be a major win. Much prettier than Dusseldorf!

Well, I do hope that you all ended up in your destination of choice this week. But even if your journey this week took you to an unsavory place, we've finally arrived on Friday. That means another "5 Things." Enjoy!

1) For your consideration: What if the Twilight Zone was set in the South? (Not instant grits!)

2) NFL player Brandon Copeland has another area of expertise: finance. He runs his own real estate company and teaches a course at Wharton. Wow! I'm sure a lot of his fellow players could benefit from his example as well.

3) What happens when A.I. is programmed to complete crossword puzzles? Enter Dr. Fill. (No, that isn't a typo!) It's an interesting world that we live in now, isn't it? Technology has come so far that it can beat humans at crossword puzzles and Jeopardy! We'll have to see what happens next.

4) Disney's Christopher Robin hit Netflix recently and I can honestly tell you that is beautiful. The characters are adorably animated and I can't imagine anyone else but Ewan McGregor playing an adult Christopher Robin. The Hundred Acre Wood characters' voices are spot on (sadly, with the exception of Piglet in my view) and the story is just so true to the spirit of A.A. Milne's books. Even if you don't have Netflix, I highly recommend renting this one... with a box of tissues nearby.

5) As a fan of Doc Martin, I never get tired of seeing the sweet, seaside town that serves as the fictional Port Wenn. Port Isaac, as it is actually called, is gorgeous. It makes me

Okay, that's all for now. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
